The Reach truck, also known as the Reach Fork Truck, is designed for narrow aisles. Narrow aisles are roughly 9 feet wide.
Reach Trucks are electric and usually powered by either a 24 volt or 36 volt battery. A reach truck's forks can extend to reach the load, hence the name. There are two variants: moving carriage, which is common in North America; and moving mast, which is common in the rest of the world.
