Skids vs Pallets

If you are looking to lift skids, then this manual stacker is a great option.  The forklifts are designed like a pallet jack, which means you can lift the forks in the air while a second set of forks remains on the ground for stability.  Just like a pallet jack, though, if you lift the forklift too high inside a pallet (that has bottom boards) the boards will crack and break off.  Skids are pallet that do not have bottom boards. You often find skids in manufacturing, at printers, and very rarely in food warehouses.  Pallets are usually found in grocery and food warehouses.  In such case, a straddle stacker is a better choice.
